The goal of the Internship program is to provide you with a real life glimpse into our full-time role of a Sales Professional and also to enable you to eventually complete the Tom James sales cycle process with a prospect from initial interaction through final delivery. T
The primary areas of focus for our internships will be:
No previous industry knowledge is required; just a desire to sell and succeed
Direct/Indirect Referral Concepts
Phone Skills & Dials – (100+ dials/day, goal to set 5 appointments/day minimum)
Independently develop clientele; (build throughout summer, portfolio will be returned to you IF you return as full-time hire)
Field Knowledge – following mentor
TRAINING – Your first week is virtual, classroom training in the store that you were hired in. Additional training is in the field with Sales Leaders.
Candidate must live or have housing in the area of the internship and desire a career in sales in that location upon graduation.
Available Internship locations for Spring 2021: Atlanta, Austin, Birmingham, Charlotte, Cleveland, Houston, Minneapolis, NYC, Orlando, Washington, DC.
Internship is 28 hours and will be completed Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday each week.
